Residents have their own responsibilities and are expected to participate in maintaining a respectful living environment. Our goal is to provide a stable foundation while giving residents the space to continue working toward their personal goals and greater independence.

Shanhor is developing structured independent-living housing in Jacksonville, Florida for adults seeking a stable and respectful place to live while continuing to work toward greater independence.
Our housing model is designed around comfort, personal responsibility, community, and clear expectations. Residents will have access to furnished living spaces, shared common areas, and a structured household environment designed to support respectful independent living.
Shanhor's housing model will include both private and shared bedroom options, depending on the property and available space.
Shared rooms will provide individual sleeping spaces within a shared bedroom, while private rooms will provide an individual bedroom for residents who are placed in that type of accommodation.
Regardless of room type, residents will have access to shared common areas and will be expected to contribute to a clean, respectful, and welcoming household environment.

Individual bedrooms offering additional privacy while still providing access to the home's shared living spaces and community environment.
Housing Coming Soon
Shanhor is currently developing its first independent-living housing location in Jacksonville, Florida.
While housing is not currently available, we are building our referral network and preparing to connect individuals with appropriate housing opportunities as locations become available.
How It Works
Submit a Housing Interest Form or have a referral partner connect with Shanhor.

Shanhor reviews the information provided and determines whether the housing model is an appropriate fit.
02 — REVIEW
If appropriate, Shanhor will discuss the next steps toward housing and placement.
This also gives referral partners a very clear picture of what happens after they contact you.
03 — MOVE FORWARD
Shanhor welcomes referrals from professionals and organizations working with individuals who may benefit from structured independent-living housing.
We work to make the referral process clear and straightforward so that referral partners know where to start and what information is needed.
